An exclusive selection for a Christmas that unites style, culture and quality
The Christmas period is the perfect opportunity to go beyond the simple material gift: it’s the moment to choose something that tells a story, reflects an identity and conveys an authentic gesture. In this spirit, Wunderkammern offers a selection of urban art accessories that bring the essence of the gallery into everyday life, through functional objects, refined in design and imbued with a strong artistic component.
These articles reflect Wunderkammern’s curatorial identity and vision, drawing on the style and visual imagery of the artists it represents. They are original, accessible and ready‑to‑use gifts, yet with the depth that only contemporary urban art can offer.
Below we present three carefully selected proposals — objects that give tangible form to the gallery’s identity and the imagery of the artists involved. These are editions designed to bring urban art out of the exhibition space and into everyday life, while preserving its visual impact and cultural depth.
Masito – Shopping Bag
An essential accessory such as a shopping bag transforms, with Masito, into an object full of meaning. The artist — a key figure in the Italian hip‑hop scene and founder of the historic Roman group Colle der Fomento — has over the years developed an autonomous visual language rooted in urban culture and enriched by original graphic elements.
The shopping bag designed by Masito presents a clean yet decisive aesthetic, where the graphic stroke reflects his artistic background: between graffiti, urban signs and a profound sense of metropolitan narrative. Created on the occasion of Characters, his first solo exhibition at Wunderkammern, it features one of his iconic Sideralis: fantastic creatures from other planets with which Masito signs his work as a writer.
Thus the bag combines functionality and personal expression, becoming a daily object with a strong visual and narrative component. It is the ideal gift for those looking for a practical and functional accessory but with a strong cultural character, capable of carrying with it the metropolitan spirit and the original imagery of one of the protagonists of the Italian urban culture.
Hogre – Artist’s Book in Limited Edition
Produced on the occasion of the exhibition Hogre. Antologica 2007/2022, this artist’s book in limited edition represents a true collectible object. The 200 signed and numbered copies, each with a hand‑painted cover and stencil depicting a T‑rex — the artist’s iconic subject — make each example unique.
The volume collects images of urban interventions and graphics in a layout defined by the artist himself as “cyberpunk”: a visual composition without chronological or geographical order, entirely text‑free. A radical approach which reflects Hogre’s artistic vision, a key figure in subvertising, a practice that subverts the language of advertising by transforming it into social critique.
Active between Rome, London and Berlin, Hogre moves in anonymity and stands out for a dissolutive humour aimed at unmasking the mechanisms of consumerism, commercial communication and the management of public space. His work is a form of artistic activism that interrogates the role of images in contemporary society.
This book is more than a catalogue: it is an independent artistic gesture, perfect for those who wish to gift a rare object, full of content and in direct dialogue with the themes of our time.
PichiAvo – “Diaspasis” T‑Shirt
The Spanish duo PichiAvo, among the key protagonists of the international urban scene, is recognized for their ability to fuse classical iconography and contemporary language. Their works, often monumental, are characterized by a strong painterly component and a tension between ancient ruins and modern graffiti.
The “Diaspasis” T‑shirt, produced in a limited edition of 50 items, was realized on the occasion of the eponymous exhibition held at Wunderkammern in Milan. On the front of the shirt is reproduced the work “Zeus Diaspasis”, in which a portion of the face of Zeus, god of the sky and king of Olympus, is depicted with a fragmented style that recalls archaeological finds.
The peculiarity of the “Diaspasis” series (from the Greek, “separation”) lies in the technique used: the subjects are painted on plasterboard slabs which are then broken, leaving jagged edges and irregular surfaces. This process gives the works a strong material dimension, bringing into the gallery the visual and physical impact typical of their mural interventions.
With its iconic graphic, limited edition and direct link with an exhibition project, it is the perfect gift for those who want to stand out with style, appreciate authorial urban art and desire an object that has a story to tell, as well as to wear.
