On December 18, Wunderkammern Gallery opens the doors of its Rome venue, at Via Giulia 122, for a special evening dedicated to Street Art. An Art Night designed to gather in the gallery, experience new works up close, and celebrate the energy of urban art together — between historic roots and contemporary visions.
A dialogue between pioneers and international leading figures
Street Art Night brings together some of the most iconic voices of the international scene. Five new works by Blek le Rat — a pivotal artist and one of the founding fathers of the European urban movement — will be unveiled live in the gallery as the heart of the evening.
Blek le Rat’s new works will enter into dialogue with pieces by JonOne, Sten Lex, Obey, L’Atlas, Blu, and Aakash Nihalani — artists who, each through their own techniques and visual language, have reshaped Street Art on a global scale.
Origins and evolutions of Street Art
The evening is conceived as a meeting between memory and new visions. On one side, the original gesture that shaped the urban movement; on the other, its constant evolution, driven by experimentation, cross-pollination, and new expressive possibilities.
This very passage between origins and evolutions makes Street Art a living language: immediate, accessible, and powerful, capable of transforming public space and speaking to the present with a unique intensity.
The new works, live in the gallery
During the evening, guests will be able to discover Wunderkammern’s new works up close, in a display designed to highlight their details, materials, and visual presence. A chance to encounter the artworks outside the digital flow, experiencing the gallery as a space for immersion, dialogue, and discovery.
