Street Art & Urban Stories – The new episode is online: Street Art and Urban Culture with Giacomo Spazio and Solomostry

The new episode of Street Art & Urban Stories is online! This time, we dive into Urban Culture, a phenomenon that embraces different creative forms born in urban environments and continues to influence younger generations.

Urban culture as a contemporary language

When we talk about Urban Culture, we refer to a universe made up of art, music, fashion, and sport, which spontaneously emerges in the city and develops as a creative response to the urban environment.

In this context, street art is not just a visual expression but an integral part of a broader language that reflects in behaviours, styles, and collective imagination.

Giacomo Spazio and Solomostry tell the story of the urban scene

In this episode, we have the pleasure of listening to two key figures of the Italian scene: Giacomo Spazio, artist, music producer, and one of the pioneers who introduced underground culture to Italy, and Solomostry, Milanese artist and graphic designer known for blending street art with contemporary graphics, leaving his recognisable mark on the city walls.

Through their stories, we retrace the main stages in the evolution of urban culture, from the explosion of street art and graffiti, to the rise of streetwear, up to the role of music and skateboarding as tools for social connection and identity.

Urban art as a reflection of the new generations

Urban culture is constantly evolving and today represents one of the liveliest forms of creativity.

The younger generations reinterpret and reinvent it, blending disciplines and creating new connections between art, music, fashion, and everyday life. The city walls, public spaces, and neighbourhoods thus become places for expression and dialogue, where alternative languages are experimented with, and a new urban identity takes shape.

The new episode Street Art and Urban Culture with Giacomo Spazio and Solomostry is available now on all major platforms.

Happy listening!
