SHEPARD FAIREY – FORCE MAJEURE-THE ART OF SHEPARD FAIREY
The Force Majeure catalogue was published by Wunderkammern on the occasion of the museum exhibition - Force Majeure - The art of Shepard Fairey - dedicated to the American Shepard Fairey Obey at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA) in Russia. The catalogue is in Russian and English.
Force Majeure, in addition to being a limited edition of 1000 units, presents numerous exclusive content, details and high quality images related to the exhibition.
For the exhibition Force Majeure, as in most of his works, Shepard Fairey addressed social and political issues.
The cover depicts the face of the wrestler Andrè the Giant, who has become a symbol of the production of the artist Obey. The catalogue is contained inside a rigid case, on which is represented the same subject made with hot silver printing. The works of the street artist Shepard Fairey are instead depicted on a coated paper Fedrigoni X-Per.
